The first time Ann set foot on a yoga mat she had the feeling of coming home. Apart from it healing injuries in her body and helping her to calm her mind, the thing she most enjoys is that the practice allows you to move beyond the layers so to become a more fulfilled, kinder person.
She is passionate about practicing and teaching meaningful movement, women’s work, Thai Yoga Massage and other healing arts. Feeling greatly inspired by the teachings of Max Strom and Françoise Freedman, which helped her cultivate the art of self nurture, a quality she wishes to pass on in everything she teaches. Ann’s classes have often been described as medicine in movement.
‘I don’t believe in using my body to get into yoga postures anymore. Instead I’ve chosen to use yoga to get more into my body. It feels great!’
